Care & welfare assistant
Job description
You will be working at a care organization that works closely with our foundation. The organization has various residential facilities in the Netherlands, with departments for both people with dementia (PG) and somatic care.
As a care assistant in elderly care, you are the support and confidant for the clients every day. You help them with daily activities such as getting up, washing, dressing and going to the toilet. In addition, you ensure a warm, homely atmosphere in the department, you supervise activities, and you always offer a listening ear.
You work in our flex pool, which means that every day is different. One day you support people with dementia, the next day you work with somatic clients. You choose when and how much you work, which gives you a lot of freedom to keep your work and private life in balance.
What we ask of you
- You are a certified assistant with a warm heart for the elderly, and you have experience working with people with dementia. That is a plus!
- You are independent and know exactly what is needed to provide good care, where the well-being of the client is always central.
- You have your diploma as a care assistant and are ready to make a difference in the lives of the elderly.
